These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of this Website, including the purchase of products offered for sale.

3. Eligibility

By placing an order through this Website you confirm that:

you are at least 18 years of age; or
you have obtained permission from a parent or legal guardian.

We make every effort to accurately describe and photograph the products offered for sale.

However:

product images are for illustrative purposes;
manufacturers may update packaging without notice;
colours may vary depending on your display;
specifications may change without notice.

5. Pricing

All prices displayed on the Website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.

Although every effort is made to ensure pricing accuracy, errors may occasionally occur.

Should an obvious pricing error be identified, Deck & Dice reserves the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund.

6. Orders

Submission of an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance.

Orders are confirmed upon successful payment, subject to product availability.

If stock is unavailable after payment has been received, we will notify you as soon as reasonably possible and offer either:

a full refund;
a suitable replacement product (if available and agreed); or
the opportunity to wait for replenishment.

Deck & Dice reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where necessary, including but not limited to:

stock shortages;
supplier allocation issues;
pricing errors;
suspected fraud;
payment verification failure.

7. Payment

Payments are securely processed through Yoco.

Alternative payment methods may be arranged upon request and are subject to approval by Deck & Dice.

Orders will only be processed once payment has been successfully received.

8. Shipping and Delivery

We currently deliver within South Africa only.

Orders are generally dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment has been confirmed.

Delivery times vary depending on:

customer location;
courier schedules;
public holidays;
unforeseen delays beyond our control.

Deliveries are fulfilled using courier services arranged through Bob Go.

Estimated delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

9. Lost or Damaged Shipments

Should a shipment be delayed, lost or damaged in transit, Deck & Dice will investigate the matter together with the courier.

Once the investigation has been concluded, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include:

replacement of the product; or
a refund.

10. Returns

Unopened Products

Customers may return unopened products within 7 calendar days of delivery, provided that:

the product remains unused;
the original packaging is intact;
the product is suitable for resale.

Return shipping costs may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by law.

Opened Products

For hygiene, quality assurance and product integrity reasons, Deck & Dice does not accept returns of products that have been opened, except where required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

Faulty Products

Products believed to be defective should be reported as soon as reasonably possible.

Returned products will be inspected to determine whether a manufacturing defect exists.

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, Deck & Dice will provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, which may include repair, replacement, refund or store credit, depending on the circumstances.

11. Trading Card Products

Trading Card Game products contain randomly packaged cards.

By purchasing sealed Trading Card Game products, including booster packs, booster boxes and similar products, you acknowledge that:

card contents are entirely random;
Deck & Dice cannot guarantee the inclusion of any specific cards, rarities or pull rates;
opened Trading Card Game products cannot be returned unless they are confirmed to be defective.

Opening a sealed product constitutes acceptance of its random contents.

12. Pre-Orders

Deck & Dice accepts pre-orders for selected products.

By placing a pre-order you acknowledge that:

payment is taken immediately to reserve stock;
orders are fulfilled on a first-paid, first-served basis;
release dates are determined by publishers and distributors;
release dates may change without notice;
supplier allocations may be reduced or delayed.

If our supplier cannot fulfil your pre-order, we will notify you and issue a full refund.

Pre-orders cannot otherwise be cancelled or refunded once placed unless required by law.

13. Promotions

From time to time Deck & Dice may offer promotions, discounts or promotional codes.

Promotions:

cannot normally be combined unless stated otherwise;
may be withdrawn without notice;
remain subject to stock availability.

14. Customer Reviews

Customers may submit product reviews.

By submitting a review you confirm that:

it reflects your genuine opinion;
it is not defamatory;
it contains no unlawful or offensive material.

Deck & Dice reserves the right to remove, edit or refuse any review that:

is offensive;
contains spam;
is misleading;
infringes intellectual property rights;
violates these Terms.

Unless otherwise stated, all Website content remains the property of Deck & Dice or its licensors.

Deck & Dice shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

internet outages;
courier disruptions.

20. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Deck & Dice reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

The latest version will always be published on this Website together with the updated revision date.

Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the amended Terms.
